Innovance provided the expertise for remote engagement for the bank to provide a new digital banking experience combining ATM network with mobile banking application. The new experience involved seamless transition between mobile application & ATM, where the bank’s clients were able to initiate transactions at mobile and complete at ATM or initiate at ATM and finalize at mobile application.
A revolutionary business approach enabling seamless transition among mobile & ATM channels of the bank involving redesign & development of all ATM screens using React JS. With this implementation our client is one of the first banks in the world offering “start at mobile finish at ATM”, “start at ATM finish at mobile” type of banking transactions. However, As it might be simply referred “ATM to Mobile, Mobile to ATM” or omni channel banking experience, the technical challenge was beyond this statement.
The main challenge was the formulation of development plan inline various platforms which required architectural level overview & coordination with bank’s core services & technology pipeline. Once this development plan was formulated by Innovance architects, the code quality was improved along with development lead times.
Innovance introduced code quality performance hook establishing the capability center for the bank’s ATM framework. This also gave the bank open-source development capability over its ATM network. All QA processes including code reviews were established by Innovance.
Innovance with its consultants were able to establish the required capability center at the client’ infrastructure, providing all guidance to establish open-source project hub for easy integration for future requests over its ATM network, not to mention seamless transactions among ATM and mobile application for their clients. Involving both technology application on the front-end and architectural level consulting supports to design a new framework. This unique experience and the know how gained will lead the way for transitioning into branchless banking.
