Innovance provided both the expertise & the execution for the leading telco operator to provide a new digital payment technology under the emerging e-money business model. Innovance relying on latest financial technologies & architecture was able to provide the mobile applications, wallet & campaign management portals as an end-to-end solution in very time competitive manner. The open architecture will allow adoption of soft POS solutions enabling Vodafone to expand into its merchant network.
Innovance provided the necessary expertise to simplify complex flows matching the latest user experience requirements of the client. Once the necessary user experience (UX) study was conducted Innovance designed and developed the revolutionary new user interface (UI). All processes and flows re-engineered thanks to the latest methodologies applied by Innovance Business Analysts accumulated over similar projects in all fintech verticals.
To compliment this revolutionary UX, Innovance developed and implemented both payments issuing & payments acquiring core services from scratch eliminating dependency for Vodafone to third party vendors introducing additional levels of scalability within the global organization.
This UX was the overall result of one of the most detailed benchmarking studies conducted covering globally implemented solutions. For mobile application a responsive UI was implemented using React Technology relying on a single code base for iOS and Android phones. Introducing shorter lead times over design, development, testing & QA. Vodafone was able to launch the minimum viable product (MVP) in a record time for just 4 months.
On this project Innovance provided overall project leadership together with Vodafone project leadership team and expertise including CI/CD processes, enabling a seamless transition for the newly designed application.
Following the launch of the Vodafone Pay, the application was ranked among the top applications on both the App Store and the Google Play.
Innovance proved its capabilities as an engineering organization once more by conducting a through benchmark study to design the latest user interface to match the user experience requirements of the youngest mobile users.
Even more than 700K existing customers was seamlessly migrated to the new application
